Hi there, I’m Chie and I don’t even know how to commissions, but I need money (first set goal is $125), that’s why I’m opening commissions and really hope somebody needs my kawaii animoo stuff.

So, I do:

OCs

Sonic OCs (sorry for no sample, but I do that too)

Vocaloid/UTAU cover art format things (size that corresponds 12800x780 video size)

Fanart

I don’t do:

Realism (I can’t)

Mature content (unless it’s just naked boobs, but still these things are hard to draw)

Stuff I’ll see as potentially offensive

Prices are shown on samples.

Besides I do sketch comissions by following prices:

sketchy chibs: $2

sketchy fullbody: $3,5

On coloured works, simple blurred watercolour background may go for free. If you want some more detailed background, please add it to your commission. Price won’t increase dramatically unless it’s something really complicated.

For commisioning please send me email (Everchance-B@yandex.ru). We’ll discuss things about what to draw and how much to pay there. I’ll require some part of payment after showing you sketch, and the other part after finishing your commission.

From that moment on, Shichi was constantly on the move. There was no time to forage, meditate, or enjoy the scenery. Each time his stomach twisted in hunger, he remembered the glints of knives and teeth and the ravenous look in the hunter’s eyes. He had to put as much distance between himself and Zaisei as possible. His goal was further east, where the river met the sea. There, he would make his way north. So far, I think this might be my favorite part in her story. I also didn’t know you can eat pine cones…. The amount of research she does for her story is amazing! It must take a lot of patience. Even though the beginning didn’t have extreme action compared to the second half, it was already exciting to read how Shichi is suffering!

So. I thought it would be fun to fully draw out several of the outfits Shichi wears throughout the story.

Work: The style of clothing he typically wore in the first 10 parts of the story, usually while working, training, or gathering herbs. Simple and easy to move around in, with mon (crests) on the top. While doing manual labor, he ties the sleeves up with tasuki. Otherwise, his sleeves are loose. The hakama (pants) allows comfortable movement during his work.

Ceremony: The clothing worn during ceremonies, meditation, and other monk business. This is the only outfit with tabi (socks), since tengu claws would probably wreck tabi if worn regularly. He has juzu (counting beads) on his wrist for meditation.

Travel: This is the outfit he will be wearing from Part 11 to, well, pretty much the rest of the story. The ropes keep a small satchel on his back, which contains some supplies and medical tools. He also wears Kana’s ribbon openly on his wrist, rather than concealed. His legs are partially wrapped in an effort to keep off burrs and other forest inconveniences. He also carries the shakujo (walking staff) that Sagiri trained him to use.

Medical: A very simple outfit used during medical practice. Shorter sleeves give keep his arms free and the white robe prevents his other clothing from being stained with blood (and other unpleasant byproducts of healing).

I had also sketched a yamabushi outfit, since it’s the clothing that tengu are most typically presented in, but it just… I… the hat was killing me. That’s all I have to say.

I wish this post also included this image too, because I love the cleaned version of the symbol and want to reblog both. However since I chose to reblog one post of my friends’ blog a day (?), I’ll choose this one instead. I wish I can wear all of them, but mostly his work and travel clothes.

My personal favorite is ceremonial clothing. Great job!

Karasu Scenery
Okay, third post for this place but I totally saved the best for last. So Yuki and I have this habit of accidentally climbing mountains and it happened again this time. We continued on the path away from the temple and found the most holy mother of god majestic magical straight from Ghibli mountain forest I’ve ever seen. This is basically exactly how I pictured the scenery in Karasu, right in front of my face on tengu mountain and I was just overwhelmed with a motherfucking downpour of inspiration.

I just.

I can’t.

But believe me I am going to write up a storm because of this place. I mean just look at it.

Tengu Appreciation Post
So, thanks to Yuki, we were able to visit Mount Kurama while in Kyoto. I had no idea this place even existed since apparently it is rarely mentioned in English guidebooks.

Kurama-yama is where Sojobo (king of the tengu) lives. It’s also supposed to be the place he trained Minamoto no Yoshitsune. So, to my complete and utter delight, the village at the bottom of the mountain was covered in tengu things (both karasu tengu and yamabushi tengu). It was so hard for me to remain dignified and not just fangirl the fuck out.

These photos came out beautifully!

Holy cow, you guys, LOOK. Chase made us music for “GORGE”. I wish I was capable of physically containing all the joy and excitement I have in my body, but I’m about to burst and give birth to a whole new universe.

Ahhhh, this is BEAUTIFUL. This was well worth the wait! I really, really love your work and this music and I’m so excited, it hurts. I forgot how to English. GAHHHH!!!
